When Is the Best Time to Go
If possible, visit Albany on a weekday when you can tour the State Capitol and visit the Corning tower observation deck. It can get cold in the winter, but any season will afford you a unique experience.
How to get there
By car or train, it takes approximately 2.5 hours from NYC. There are also many bus companies that operate between NYC and Albany.
